Brand: Akai
The Akai 1800L is a legacy digital audio workstation (DAW) that was popular in the 1990s and early 2000s. It featured 16-bit/48 kHz resolution, 64 MIDI channels, and up to 32 simultaneous audio tracks. The hardware version included a keyboard, a touchscreen display, and real-time control knobs and sliders. The software version was available for Windows and Mac computers and allowed users to record, edit, and mix audio and MIDI data. Although discontinued, many users still rely on the Akai 1800L for its advanced sampling and virtual instrument capabilities. However, newer DAWs now have more features, better software compatibility, and greater hardware connectivity, making the Akai 1800L less competitive in the modern digital audio market.
