The Akai X-IV is a legacy digital audio workstation (DAW) introduced by Akai Professional in the mid-1990s. It offers up to 16-bit, 48 kHz resolution, and allows for real-time recording and playback of up to 128 audio tracks, as well as 64 MIDI tracks.
