Brand: Corvette

The Corvette model 721 is a prototype sports car developed by Chevrolet in the mid-1990s. It was a low-slung, two-door coupe with a distinct wedge shape and exaggerated aerodynamic features, such as a large front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. The engine of the Corvette model 721 was a modified version of the 5.7-liter Small Block V8 found in the production Corvette, with increased displacement and turbochargers, boosting output to over 600 horsepower. The model 721 features several innovative suspension and handling systems, including a hydraulic suspension with active ride height control, front and rear anti-roll bars, and adaptive damping. Its interior was also high-tech for its time, with advanced instrumentation, a fully digital dashboard, and voice-activated controls.Although the Corvette model 721 did not go into production, it served as a testing ground for new technologies and design concepts that would eventually be incorporated into future Corvette models. Its influence can be seen in the design and performance of vehicles such as the Corvette Z06 and the Cadillac CTS-V.
